Introduction

This study aims to analyze the effect of dividend policies both partially and simultaneously on the market value of investment companies listed on the IDX.

This study uses a purposive sampling method, where ten companies registered on the IDX during the period 2010 to 2013 were made the object of research. In addition, an unbalanced increase in investment can cause uncertainty among investors, thereby reducing market value.

Furthermore, operational net cash flows have a significant positive influence on the company's market value, provided there is no adverse change in regional income and financial assets. F Test Analysis

The F test analysis with an error rate of 5% shows that simultaneously, all of these variables have a significant influence on the company's market value. This confirms that dividend policy does not stand alone; but rather influenced by various interrelated factors.

The coefficient of determination of 0.748 shows that the regression model is able to explain 74.8% of variations in the company's market value, while the remaining 25.2% is influenced by other variables that are not involved in this study.
