Introduction
Patient satisfaction is a crucial measure in assessing the success of health services, particularly in hospitals. It is achieved when the services provided meet the patient's expectations. The Hospital of the University of North Sumatra, like many other healthcare institutions, strives to provide high-quality services that cater to the needs of its patients. This study aims to identify the level of patient satisfaction based on the dimensions of nursing services, namely responsiveness, assurance, tangibles, empathy, and reliability, in the inpatient room of the Hospital of the University of North Sumatra.
The Importance of Patient Satisfaction

The selection of samples was carried out using purposive sampling techniques, with the criteria that patients must have undergone treatment for more than two days, willing to be respondents, and able to communicate well.

Overall, the level of patient satisfaction at the University of North Sumatra Hospital reached 72.1%, which falls into the category of satisfaction.
