The existence of the Talang building as a water delivery structure is very important to maintain the sustainability of water supply to agricultural land.

However, in dealing with obstacles and challenges in the field, the Talang building can be replaced with a siphon building, which also functions as a water carrier channel. In this comparison, calculations are calculated on energy losses that occur in each building. It was found that the total energy loss in the Talang building was 0.12, while the Siphon building was 0.089.
