The Sumatran Orangutan, scientifically known as Pongo Abelii, is a critically endangered species found in the northern part of the island of Sumatra. During the observation period, a total of 58 species of trees were found to be used by orangutans as a nesting place. The results showed that there were 99 nests in observations I and 50 nests in observation II.
