The results showed that the highest primary productivity occurred at station II, with a value of 1,221.17 mgc/m³/day. The average primary productivity for the three observation points is 1,095.99 mgc/m³/day, which falls into the mesotrophic category. This indicates that Lake Toba waters have a moderate level of primary productivity, which is essential for supporting a variety of aquatic life.
