Methodology

This study aims to explore the relationship between the duration of the post-menopausal period and the needs of periodontal care in women in Purwodadi Village, Binjai Municipality. In this study, 40 subjects who were recitation members in the area were involved. The results of the analysis using Fisher's Exact Test showed a significant relationship between the length of suffering from menopause and the needs of periodontal treatment. This study indicates that as we get older, the severity of periodontal disease in women also increases.
