Meanwhile, clay briquette samples (Q4) recorded the best results for ash content (68.37%) and heat values (275.2 kcal/kg). The results also showed that the composition of the material had a significant influence on the nature of coal briquettes, with coal producing better time, density, and compressive strength, while clay played an important role in increasing ash levels and heat values.
