Introduction

Methodology

This study employed a quantitative approach, involving 101 respondents chosen through purposive sampling techniques. Primary data was collected through questionnaires, while secondary data was obtained from literature studies. To test the hypothesis, simple linear regression analysis was applied with a significance level of 5% (0.05).

Results

The analysis results show that discounts have a positive and significant influence on impulse buying behavior. The determinant coefficient (R2) value of 0.230 indicates that the discounted price explains 23.0% of the variation of impulse buying, while the remaining 77.0% is influenced by other factors that are not analyzed in this study.
