The results showed that before education, the majority of respondents had low self-care capabilities, reaching 84%. However, after getting stoma education, self-care capabilities increased significantly, with 93.20% of respondents showing good abilities. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test statistical test used shows the value of P = 0.00, which shows a significant difference between self-care capabilities before and after stoma education intervention (p <0.05).

The results of this study indicate that stoma education interventions have a positive effect on increasing the self-care of stoma patients. Education given to patients not only changes their knowledge, but also motivates them to be more active in their health management.
