Introduction

In today's fast-paced and competitive business environment, employee performance is a crucial factor that determines the success of an organization. Research Purpose and Methodology

This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance and emotional intelligence separately and simultaneously on employee performance at PT Bank Tabungan Negara Medan Branch Office. The research method used is a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population in this study consisted of 61 employees in the Consumer Collection Recovery and Asset Sales Unit division. Sampling techniques were carried out with nonprobability sampling using a saturated sample model, where all 61 employees became respondents.

The data used in this study consisted of primary data obtained through observation, interviews, and distribution of questionnaires. In addition, secondary data was also collected through library research. The analysis methods applied include validity testing, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.

Research Results

The results showed that the work-life balance and emotional intelligence variables had a significant and positive influence on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient obtained indicates a very strong relationship between work-life balance and emotional intelligence of employee performance, with a R value of 0.885 or 88.5%. In addition, the Adjusted R Square value shows that the work-life balance and emotional intelligence variables can explain 77.6% of employee performance variance, while the remaining 22.4% is influenced by other variables that are not explained in this study.
