Introduction

This study aims to explore the nonverbal communication behavior of autistic children in the Extraordinary School of Islamic Education Park in Medan City, Indonesia. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological disorder that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior. Children with autism often struggle with verbal communication, relying heavily on nonverbal cues to express themselves.
